Getting to Nairobi By Air
International delegates are advised to fly into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Kenya's main international gateway, located approximately 18 km from the summit venue. Major airlines serving Nairobi include:

Visa & Entry Requirements

Most international visitors require an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before travelling to Kenya.

Delegates are encouraged to:

  • Check their eligibility requirements well in advance.
  • Apply for the eTA at least 2–4 weeks before departure.
  • Ensure their passport remains valid for at least six months beyond their intended stay.

Delegates are encouraged to book accommodation near KICC and Nairobi's Central Business District. Recommended areas include:

  • Nairobi CBD – Walking distance to KICC
  • Upper Hill – 10–15 minutes from the venue
  • Westlands – Major business and hospitality district
  • Kilimani – Convenient access to the city centre

Health & Safety
  • No mandatory vaccinations are currently required for most travellers arriving directly from non-endemic countries.
  • Visitors arriving from countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission may be required to present a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
  • Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is strongly recommended.
  • Emergency medical support will be available throughout the summit period.
